Spa Residential Care Home is located in the serene, peaceful town of Llandrindod Wells in the Heart of Mid-Wales surrounded by wonderful local scenery such as its prize possessions, the boating lake and Rock Park with fresh running spa waters and the near by Elan Valley Dams. The Spa was first established in 1970. Our family took over the running of the home in 1986 and the rest is history. Recognised by Investors of People, we are proud of everything we have achieved here, improving the quality of our service users lives and making their lives that extra special.

 

We are registered to accommodate 40 residential clients and cater for all levels of dependence, specialising in Care of People with Dementia. We understand how hard it can be to support someone with dementia before they move into a care home, that's why our main aim is to ensure clients feel happy and secure in their twilight years, with our friendly staff on duty 24 hours a day 7 days a week providing the very best care for all levels of dependency whilst respecting the clients privacy at all times. In our homes residents are free to spend their time how they choose, whether that's taking part in activities or relaxing in the garden, meeting the needs and wishes of our residents is our priority here at Spa Residential Home.

Enriching the lives of the residents as well as providing care and support is essential and is why we have our own activities coordinator providing meaningful activities for people with dementia, helping them interact with others and bringing joy into their lives.

We realise the importance of loved ones seeing each other as regularly as possible, whenever they want and is why there are no visiting hours here, so family and friends can come and go as they please.
