In line with the national COVID-19 vaccination strategy we plan to offer vaccination to everyone aged 18-49 from the end of April through to the end of July (beginning with those aged 40-49). We currently expect to offer vaccination to everyone in these age groups much sooner.
Vaccination for people aged 18 to 29 will normally take place in our mass vaccination centres.
In line with UK guidance, people aged 18-29 who do not have other underlying health conditions will be offered an alternative to AstraZeneca, if available.
Please complete our Priority Access Form below if you have not already received your invitation. This will help us to book you in to the next available vaccination clinic.
Please do not contact your GP about first dose appointments, as all remaining first dose appointments are being organised via the health board.
You will normally be invited for your second dose appointment 11-12 weeks after your first dose appointment, and you will normally be offered the same vaccine type as your first dose.
More information is available from the second dose appointments section of our website.
More information about COVID-19 vaccination in Powys is available from our COVID-19 vaccination page.
