In line with the national COVID-19 vaccination strategy we plan to offer vaccination to everyone aged 18-49 from the end of April through to the end of July (beginning with those aged 40-49). We have been able to offer vaccination ahead of schedule for some people aged 18-49.
Vaccination for people aged 30 to 39 will normally take place in our mass vaccination centres.
We are not able to offer a personal choice of vaccine type.
Please wait to be contacted to be invited for your vaccination unless you join our reserve list. Vaccination is available by appointment only, and not on a drop-in basis.
Please note that as expected we are entering a period with reduced UK supplies off first dose vaccines so we will not be calling people from the reserve list as quickly as was happening earlier this month.
Second dose appointments will normally take place 11-12 weeks after your first dose, using the same type of vaccine. More information about second dose appointments is available from the second dose appointments section of our website.
More information about COVID-19 vaccination in Powys is available from our COVID-19 vaccination page.
Please note that national factors such as vaccine approval & availability, and changes to national policy & guidance, will impact on the delivery of our COVID-19 vaccination programme in Powys. This does mean that the information on this page is subject to change. Please keep checking back for the latest information.
