Age 40 to 49

Last updated 1 July 2021

If you are aged 40-49 you should have received your invitation by now.
If you haven't please use our Priority Access Form to let us know.

In line with the national COVID-19 vaccination strategy we plan to offer vaccination to everyone aged 18-49 from the end of April through to the end of July (beginning with those aged 40-49). We have been able to offer vaccination ahead of schedule for some people aged 18-49.

First Dose Appointments

If you are aged 40-49 and registered with a GP in Powys and you have not yet received your invitation, please use our Priority Access Form below to let us know.

Vaccination for people aged 40-49 will normally take place in a mass vaccination centre.

We are not able to offer a personal choice of vaccine type.

Please do not contact your GP about first dose appointments, as all remaining first dose appointments are being organised via the health board.

Second Dose Appointments

Second dose appointments will normally take place 11-12 weeks after your first dose appointment, using the same type of vaccine.

Information about second dose appointments is available from our second dose appointments page
