We will ensure that the COVID-19 vaccination programme leaves no one behind.
For nearly all patients, your invitation for COVID-19 will come from the county where you are registered with a GP. The main exception is frontline health & care workers who will be offered COVID-19 vaccination who will be offered vaccination via their employer based on where they work.
All 16 GP practices in Powys* are providing vaccination clinics for their registered patients - although the vaccination programme in GP practices is dependent on supplies, and also about decisions within the overall vaccination programme about which priority groups will be vaccinated in which settings.
GP practices in Powys will vaccine some residents who live outside Powys but who are registered with a Powys GP.
All 16 GP practices will be providing primary care-led vaccination in Powys:
Powys Teaching Health Board is also arranging vaccination for eligible frontline health and care workers working in the county.
Information about our COVID-19 vaccination programme is available from our dedicated web pages.
If you are registered with a GP in a neighbouring county then you can find out more from the relevant health board (Wales) or clinical commissioning group (England):
Please wait to be contacted to be invited for your vaccination
Please don’t contact your GP, pharmacy, health board, hospital or local authority about an appointment, except in response to a personal invitation.
