Are you registered with a GP outside Powys?

For nearly all patients, your invitation for the COVID-19 booster programme will come from the county where you are registered with a GP. The main exception is frontline health & care workers who will be offered COVID-19 booster vaccination who will be offered vaccination via their employer based on where they work.

If you are registered with a Powys GP you will receive your booster invitation from the Powys vaccination programme:

  • Dyfi Valley Health
  • Haygarth Medical Group

  • Newtown Medical Practice
  • Presteigne Medical Centre
  • Rhayader Surgery
  • Welshpool Medical Practice 
  • Wylcwm Street Medical Practice
  • Ystradgynlais Group Practice*

Powys Teaching Health Board is also arranging vaccination for eligible frontline health and care workers working in the county.

*Crickhowell Group Practice has a branch surgery in Gilwern; patients are registered with Crickhowell Group Practice which is part of the PTHB vaccination programme. Ystradgynlais Group Practice has a branch surgery in Ystalyfera; patients are registered with Ystradgynlais Group Practice which is part of the PTHB vaccination programme.
