Information about Main Vaccination Clinics

Thank you to everyone who helps their family, friends and neighbours to attend an appointment at a Main Vaccination Clinic. Your main vaccination clinic appointment will be your quickest opportunity to receive the vaccine, so please do all that you can to attend.

Main vaccination clinics are a critical part of our COVID-19 vaccination delivery model.

They help us to ensure that we can vaccinate as many people as possible, as quickly as possible. This in turn has meant that the vaccination programme in Powys has been amongst the fastest in the UK.

When you receive your invitation, our booking team can be contacted to discuss travel and transport options, for example:

• Do you have family or friends who are able to help you travel to the vaccination clinic?
• Is there a local community transport service available?
• Is there a different time that is more convenient for you (the appointment we offer you at a main vaccination clinic will be your quickest opportunity to get the vaccine, so we would encourage you to go ahead if you can - there may be a delay before an alternative time becomes available).

If you are invited to attend a Main Vaccination Clinic and CAN attend then please DO attend as this will help us vaccinate as many as possible as quickly as possible.
