Newtown Park Street Day Centre

We have a main vaccination clinic at Park Street Day Centre in Newtown. This replaces our facility at Maldwyn Leisure Centre in Newtown.

Travelling by public transport

Park Street Day Centre is conveniently located within walking distance of Newtown bus station and Newtown train station. If you have been offered an appointment and need to rearrange your time to fit with public transport then please use the contact details in your letter to discuss this with our booking team.

Travelling by car

From Newtown Bypass (A489/A483) head north into Newtown from the A489/A483 roundabout on the Dolfor Road (this is the old A483). You will pass under a railway bridge and reach traffic lights at the junction with Llanidloes Road and New Road. Turn right and immediately bear left into Park Street.

  • Disabled access parking is available on site: The entrance to the day centre is about 250m from the New Road / Llanidloes Road junction on the left hand side. Turn into the site and our wayfinding marshals will direct you to dedicated disabled access parking next to the building.
  • Drop off: Some on-street car parking is available on Park Street but is subject to availability.
  • Public / patient parking:
    • Parking for 30 minutes is available at Ladywell House, New Church Street SY16 1JB
    • Some on-street car parking is available on Park Street and neighbouring roads subject to availability.
    • If you are planning a longer visit to Newtown please use the Town Centre car parks in Newtown. This includes Back Lane Car Park (SY16 2NH) and Gravel Car Park (SY16 1AA).
