Free cooking and numeracy course available to book now

Interested in improving your numeracy skills whilst cooking? The Public Health Dietetics team and Powys County Council are working in partnership to bring you ‘Cooking Counts’.

Cooking Counts is a new free six-week course, available at locations across the county, starting in June.

  • Play Radnor, Llandrindod Wells – 7 June – 12 July , 12pm – 2pm 
  • The Muse, Brecon - 10 June – 15 July, 12pm - 2pm
  • Newtown Family Integrated Centre – 13 June – 18 July, 1pm – 3pm
  • Cwmdauddwr Hall, Rhayader – 5 August – 9 September, 2pm – 4pm
  • St Mary’s Church, Welshpool – 9 August – 13 September, 12pm - 2pm
  • The Strand Hall, Builth Wells – 3 September – 8 October, 12pm – 2pm
  • Victoria Hall, Llanwrtyd Wells – 23 September – 28 October, 12pm -2pm
  • Llanidloes Community Centre – 27 September – 1 November, 12pm -2pm
  • Ysgol Golwg Y Cwm, Ystradgynlais – 1 October – 5 November, 3pm (Time To be Confirmed)
  • Knighton Community Centre – 3 October – 7 November, 3pm – 5pm
