Regional ‘Mind’ charities: Mind Ystradgynlais, Brecon Mind and Mid and North Powys Mind. These independent regional charities are affiliated to Mind, the national mental health charity. They provide various support services, both in person and online, to those needing support with their mental health, including those who may have been affected by mental illness or distress.

Brecon Green Minds Ecotherapy Project – a community ecotherapy service based at Brecon & District Mind in Powys, Wales. Using horticultural activities, restorative nature-connection sessions and craft making, the project supports local people wishing to improve their mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. Ponthafren – A Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), who aim "to provide a caring community, offering support to those in need and to promote positive mental health and well-being for all”. Ponthafren provide two wellness, learning and recovery centres in North Powys, alongside remote and outreach services, to help bring communities together and reduce stigma surrounding mental health.
