Weight Loss Medications

Powys Living Well Service can provide weight loss medications, but at present only people in the highest priority group as defined in the NICE guidance are eligible. Please read the following guidance for more detail:

Service Requirements

To be eligible for weight loss medications through Powys Living Well Service, people must:

  • Commit to a structured lifestyle change programme, including:
    • Reduced-calorie diet
    • Increased physical activity, including resistance training
  • Engage consistently with the service
  • Attend Bronllys Hospital for prescription collection and clinical reviews

Failure to do this will result in the medications being stopped.
