Weight Management

We help people living in larger bodies to maintain or reduce their weight whilst also improving their overall health and wellbeing. We work with people who have a Body Mass Index over 40 (NHS BMI Calculator) or if you have other health conditions which are caused or impacted by having a higher weight such as high blood pressure, cardiac issues, respiratory issues.

1. Supported Self-Management
We help people learn how to manage their weight day-to-day. This includes:

  • Understanding how food, activity, and lifestyle affect health.
  • Learning techniques for meal planning, and pacing changes.
  • Building confidence to make sustainable choices and stay active.

2. Multidisciplinary Team Support
We are a group of experienced health professionals, including:

  • Dietitians
  • GP
  • Nurses
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Physiotherapists
  • Psychologists

We work together – and with you – to design a care plan that is tailored to your needs and goals.

3. Wellbeing workshops
We run group sessions to:

  • Share experiences with others living with long term conditions.
  • Learn new skills in a supportive setting.
  • Improve wellbeing and reduce isolation.

4. Psychological Support
Living with long term conditions can affect wellbeing. We offer:

  • Mindfulness and coping strategies
  • Support for anxiety, depression, or sleep issues

5. Movement and Activity Support
We help you find safe ways to keep moving and stay active:

  • Plan and pace activities to suit your ability.
  • Introduce gentle, graded movement to improve fitness.
  • Teach strategies to make activity enjoyable and sustainable.
  • Support confidence and motivation for long-term change.

6. Weight Loss Medications
We are able to prescribe medications that may aid weight loss. Access to these medications are tightly controlled and require people taking them to engage in lifestyle changes such as reducing calorie intake and increasing activity to complement the medications and make any weight loss sustainable.
