Advanced Clinical Practitioner Occupational Therapist
Advanced Clinical Practitioner Occupational Therapist
Natalie brings 18 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, having worked across community services including social care, palliative and complex care, housing, and Primary Care clusters. Before joining the Powys Living Well Service, she was part of a large Living Well service elsewhere in Wales, where she developed a strong passion for supporting people living with ME/CFS and long-term neurological conditions.
Natalie is deeply interested in what matters to people and how daily routines, relationships, roles, and environments shape health and wellbeing. Her calm, compassionate, and collaborative approach focuses on helping people feel understood, supported, and empowered, particularly when symptoms are complex or unpredictable.
She is committed to promoting fairness and inclusion in access to meaningful activities—central to occupational therapy’s belief that everyday occupations give structure, purpose, and connection to life. Natalie recently completed her MSc in Advanced Practice, exploring how work and other meaningful activities can support symptom relief, recovery, identity, and quality of life.
She also has a strong interest in nature‑based approaches to wellbeing and is excited about how this can continue to develop within Powys Living Well. Alongside her clinical work, Natalie volunteers as the Wales Community Lead for the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, supporting and connecting OTs across Wales.
