Pete has been actively involved in the health industry for over 18 years. Before joining the National Health Service (NHS), he worked in the private sector as a Senior Support Worker. After leaving the private sector, Pete transitioned to a role as a trainer within the Training and Development Department at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB).
Since 2024, Pete has been a Digital Facilitator for the Powys Living Well Service (PLWS). In this role, he offers crucial support to service users, helping them access their individual appointments or group programs through platforms like Microsoft Teams. Pete takes pride in empowering people through technology, enhancing their ability to connect and improve their overall well-being.
In addition to assisting service users, Pete provides internal digital support to Powys Living Well Service team members. He finds it immensely rewarding to help his colleagues build their digital skills and is always eager to share his knowledge and expertise.
A key area of Pete's expertise is developing and optimising media platforms to enhance digital engagement. He actively creates and refines digital media content that supports both service users and team members, ensuring that the resources are accessible, engaging, and effective. Pete enjoys exploring new technologies and multimedia tools to expand the reach and impact of digital services.
Pete is committed to delivering the highest-quality digital support to both service users and team members. He is continually exploring innovative ways to enhance the digital services offered and looks forward to further developing his skills in this ever-evolving field.
