Assistant Psychologist

Alec joined the Powys Living Well Service in February 2026 and is excited to contribute to the holistic approach taken within the team. He has a broad range of experience within mental health services, including working in acute psychiatric wards, mental health advocacy, and educational welfare.

He has a particular interest in research exploring computational psychiatry, motivation, and the development of therapeutic interventions. Alec is looking forward to continuing to build his experience within the service and hopes to progress towards becoming a qualified psychologist in the future.
