About Me

Assistant Psychologist

Molly joined the Powys Living Well Service as an Assistant Psychologist in February 2026. Before joining the team, she worked as a Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner within NHS 111 Option 2, alongside previous experience supporting adults and young people in rehabilitation and hospital settings as a Mental Health Support Worker.

She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a professional placement in a Perinatal Community Mental Health Team, where she developed a strong interest in compassionate, person-centred care.

She is excited to be working within a supportive and experienced multi-disciplinary team that uses a bio-psycho-social approach to support people living with long-term health conditions. She is particularly passionate about using principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to empower individuals to make meaningful, values-based changes in their lives.

Alongside her clinical work, she recently completed a PhD focused on the importance of compassionate care within health and social care services. She values working collaboratively with people to understand what matters most to them and to support them in leading fulfilling and meaningful lives.

She is looking forward to continuing to develop her skills and confidence as an Assistant Psychologist and hopes to undertake a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in the future.
