Business Support Manager

Sophie joined the NHS in May 2026 as Business Support Manager for the Powys Living Well Service. Prior to this, she spent nine years working within Social Services at Powys County Council, building extensive experience in business support, service administration, and operational processes.

In her current role, Sophie plays a key part in supporting the effective delivery of the service. She regularly interprets and analyses service data to support monitoring, compliance, and reporting requirements, helping to ensure that information is accurate, meaningful, and used to inform decision-making. She also acts as a central point of contact for the team, managing enquiries, responding to routine matters, and using initiative and discretion to escalate issues when appropriate.

Sophie is passionate about delivering high-quality support services and ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently. She takes pride in providing reliable, responsive support to both colleagues and stakeholders, helping to maintain effective communication and a positive experience for everyone who interacts with the service.
