Dental Access Portal

You can apply for an NHS dentist place online if:

You are not currently registered with an NHS dentist
And you have not had routine NHS dental treatment in Wales in the past four years (Your previous dental practice should be able to offer you an appointment if you have had treatment with them in the last four years.)
And you live at an address in Powys for more than six months of the year, or are registered with a GP in Powys

Patients can use the Dental Access Portal to apply for a place with an NHS dentist as an individual or on behalf of others, such as a child, family member or as a paid or unpaid carer.

If you do not wish to or cannot apply online, please call the Powys Dental Helpline on 01686 252 808.

If you are eligible and apply, you will be contacted when a suitable place becomes available.

If you are not eligible to apply, the Community Dental Service (CDS) may offer additional support.
