Doing research in Powys

If you are interested in carrying out research in Powys, please contact us at Bright.IdeasPowys@wales.nhs.uk

Patient and public involvement in research

If you are a patient with us, you may be asked by a consultant, nurse or your GP to see if you would like to take part in a study or you may receive an invitation in the post.  Some research studies may involve surveys and interviews, others may look at the effects of drugs and treatment.

We believe that patients who take part in research studies can benefit from all the support, value and purpose that this brings as well as any potential new treatment outcomes.
