Consultant Physiotherapist

Gethin lives with his young family near Swansea and has been travelling up to Powys since September 2019 to be part of the team.  Gethin says, “I am really thrilled to be working in such a forward thinking and innovative service”.

For the past 19 years since qualifying as a Physiotherapist, Gethin has been privileged to have worked in the NHS, sport and private healthcare settings across South West Wales and continues to love the job he does. His aim has always been to make a difference to people living with long term conditions within all walks of life, and feels honoured to have the opportunity to support people living within the Powys Teaching Health Board region.

Gethin supports the team clinically and managerially. His role entails supporting people during assessments, follow up’s and in group programmes to live well despite managing a long-term condition. He also supports other health professionals and sectors to improve their ability to engage and support people living with long term conditions.
