Pregnancy

If you are pregnant and wish to continue with the pregnancy, it is best to access healthcare as soon as possible. To do this contact your local Midwifery team

If you are pregnant and do not wish to continue with the pregnancy and would like to request an abortion (termination of pregnancy), you can access the service via the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS).

If you are unsure about whether you want to continue with the pregnancy, advice is available from:

  • your GP or nurse at your GP surgery
  • NHS website
  • Brook, a sexual health charity for young people
  • a sexual health clinic

Advice is available even if you are under 16 years.
