Antenatal appointments unaffected during essential maintenance work at Welshpool Birth Centre

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience whilst essential maintenance work takes place at Welshpool Birth Centre. 

Antenatal appointments are not affected. Please attend as normal. 

If your delivery is due to take place at Welshpool Birth Centre during October then your midwife will contact you to discuss your birth options, including a home birth or an alternative birth centre in Powys. 

We appreciate your patience while we carry out these essential improvements, which we expect to conclude by 21 October 2025. Our midwifery team is committed to continuing to offer you safe, high quality care so please do contact your midwife if you have any questions.
