Drop-In COVID Vaccination Sessions - week beginning 1 August

We have drop-in sessions available at our Mass Vaccination Centres week beginning 1 August. Please check the dates and eligibility below. You can also check our drop-in page for the latest information.

Drop-in clinics for those aged 13+

You can attend our drop-in clinics for your first booster if you:

  • Are aged 16+
  • Completed your primary course (e.g. second dose) more than three months ago

DO NOT attend for a booster if you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days (if you are 18 or over) or in the last 84 days (if you are 16-17).

 

You can attend our drop-in clinics for your first dose if you are:

  • Aged 13+ (you can also attend if you are aged 12 and born on or before 31 August 2009)
  • Accompanied by a parent/guardian if aged 12-15

    DO NOT attend if you are aged 12-17 and have tested positive for COVID in the last 84 days, or you are 18+ and have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days.

     

    You can attend our drop-in clinics for your second dose if you:

    • Are aged 18+ and received your first Pfizer dose more than eight weeks ago (AZ second doses are by appointment).
    • OR are aged 13-17 and received your first Pfizer dose more than twelve weeks ago

    DO NOT attend if you are aged 12-17 and have tested positive for COVID in the last 84 days, or you are 18+ and have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days.

    • Monday 1 August: 9.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4.45pm

    Former Welsh Government Building, Llandrindod Wells

    • Tuesday 2 August: 9.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4.45pm

    The spring booster programme has now ended.


    Drop-in clinics for those aged 5 - 11

    These clinics are also open to people aged 12 who were born on or after 1 September 2009.

    Those aged 5 - 11 can attend our drop-in clinics for a first dose if they:

    • Are registered with a GP in Powys and accompanied by a parent/guardian.

    DO NOT attend if you have tested positive for COVID in the last 84 days.

    • Wednesday 3 August: 9.15am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4.45pm

    No appointment necessary. 

    Help us make sure your vaccine is as effective as possible and please only attend a drop-in session if:

    • you do NOT currently have COVID-19 symptoms
    • you are NOT acutely unwell
    • you have NOT tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days (if aged over 18) or you have NOT testing positive in the last 84 days (if aged under 18)

    All first doses are currently with Pfizer unless you have a specific clinical need for an alternative to Pfizer. Your vaccinator will discuss this with you when you attend.
