Powys Teaching Health Board Annual General Meeting - 22 October 2020

Dear Colleague

Powys Teaching Health Board Annual General Meeting – 22 October 2020

I am delighted to invite you to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Powys Teaching Health Board.  In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and associated guidance and restrictions, at its meeting on 25 March 2020 the Board took a decision to undertake future meetings via electronic means.  The Board took this decision in the best interests of protecting the public, staff and board members.

Our AGM will take place from 2.00pm to 3.00pm on 22 October 2020 virtually via Microsoft Teams.

You will be able to join and participate in the online meeting at the following link: - https://pthb.nhs.wales/about-us/the-board/board-meeting-calendar/meeting-of-the-board-on-22-october-2020-annual-general-meeting/

It will provide an opportunity to share some of the successes and challenges of the year gone by, and our priorities for the year ahead.  Importantly it will provide an opportunity for us to hear from you about your aspirations for the future of health and wellbeing in Powys.

The AGM will consist of a series of presentations by Board Members.  Visual information will be presented bilingually with the option for Welsh or English subtitles.

Electronic copies of the Annual Report & Annual Accounts 2019/20 and Annual Quality Statement 2019/20 will be available in advance of the meeting at https://pthb.nhs.wales/about-us/the-board/board-meeting-calendar/meeting-of-the-board-on-22-october-2020-annual-general-meeting/

There will be a virtual question and answer session following the presentations, where there will be an opportunity to ask questions in both English and Welsh.  You are also invited to pose questions in advance of the meeting, by sending them to powys.geninfo@wales.nhs.uk

We look forward to seeing you at our Annual General Meeting on 22 October.

Yours faithfully
