COVID-19 vaccination information if you are registered with a GP outside Powys

Your invitation for COVID-19 will normally come from the county where you are registered with a GP. The main exception is frontline health & care workers who will be offered COVID-19 vaccination who will be offered vaccination via their employer based on where they work.

 


Powys Teaching Health Board is arranging vaccination for people who are registered with the 16 GP practices in Powys*, and eligible frontline health and care workers working in the county.

Invitation letters are currently being issued based on the national priority list, beginning with invitations to people aged 80 and over.

Everyone aged 80 and over (around 10,000 people) registered with a Powys GP should receive their invitation letter by 22 January.

Please don’t contact your GP, pharmacy, health board, hospital or local authority about an appointment, except in response to a personal invitation.

 

*Crickhowell Group Practice has a branch surgery in Gilwern; patients are registered with Crickhowell Group Practice which is part of the PTHB vaccination programme. Ystradgynlais Group Practice has a branch surgery in Ystalyfera; patients are registered with Ystradgynlais Group Practice which is part of the PTHB vaccination programme.
