Drop-In COVID Vaccination Sessions - week beginning 9 May

We have drop-in sessions available at our Mass Vaccination Centres week beginning 9 May for those aged 12+. Please check the dates and eligibility below. You can also check our drop-in page for the latest information.

 

You can attend our drop-in clinics for a first booster if you:

  • Are aged 18+
  • Completed your primary course (e.g. second dose) more than three months ago

DO NOT attend for a first booster if you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days.

 

You can attend our drop-in clinics for your first dose if you are:

  • Aged 12+
  • Accompanied by a parent/guardian if aged 12-15

DO NOT attend if you are aged 12-17 and have tested positive for COVID in the last 84 days, or you are 18+ and have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days.

 

You can attend our drop-in clinics for your second dose if you:

  • Are aged 18+ and received your first Pfizer dose more than eight weeks ago (AZ second doses are by appointment).
  • OR are aged 12-17 and received your first Pfizer dose more than twelve weeks ago

DO NOT attend if you are aged 12-17 and have tested positive for COVID in the last 84 days, or you are 18+ and have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days.

Spring Booster drop-in clinics

You can attend our drop-in clinics for a spring booster if you:

  • Are aged 75+
  • Received your first booster at least 3 months ago
  • Are registered with a GP in Powys

DO NOT attend for a spring booster if you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days.

  • Tuesday 10 May: 9.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

  • Wednesday 11 May: 9.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

  • Thursday 12 May: 11.30am - 2.15pm

  • Friday 13 May: 9.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

Spring Booster drop-in is NOT available in Newtown


No appointment necessary. 

Help us make sure your vaccine is as effective as possible and please only attend a drop-in session if:

  • you do NOT currently have COVID-19 symptoms
  • you are NOT acutely unwell
  • you have NOT tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days (if aged over 18) or you have NOT testing positive in the last 84 days (if aged under 18)

All first doses are currently with Pfizer unless you have a specific clinical need for an alternative to Pfizer. Your vaccinator will discuss this with you when you attend.
