Drop-In COVID Vaccination Sessions - week beginning 22 November

We have drop-in sessions available at our Mass Vaccination Centres week beginning 22 November for those aged 12 - 15 and those aged 16+. Please check the dates and eligibility below. 

 

First Dose drop-in vaccination clinics this week for those aged 12 - 15: 22 - 25 November

You can attend our drop-in clinics week beginning 22 November for your first dose if you are:

  • Aged 12 - 15
  • Registered with a GP in Powys
  • Accompanied by a parent/guardian

    DO NOT attend if you have tested positive for COVID in the last 84 days

    Bronllys Hospital

    • Monday 22 November: 3.30pm - 6pm

    • Thursday 25 November: 3.30pm - 6pm

    • Sunday 28 November: 9.30am - 12.30pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

    Maldwyn Leisure Centre, Newtown

    • Tuesday 23 November: 3.30pm - 6pm

    • Wednesday 24 November: 3.30pm - 6pm

     


     

    First & Second Dose drop-in vaccination clinics this week for those aged 16+: 22 - 28 November

    You can attend our drop-in clinics week beginning 22 November for your first dose if you are:

    • Aged 16+

    You can attend our drop-in clinics week beginning 22 November for your second dose if you:

    • Are aged 18+
    • Received your first Pfizer dose more than ten weeks ago (AZ second doses are by appointment).

    If you are 16/17 DO NOT attend if you have tested positive for COVID in the last 84 days. If you are 18+ DO NOT attend if you have tested positive for COVID in the last 28 days.

    • Monday 22 November: 11.30am - 2.30pm & 3.30pm - 6pm

    • Tuesday 23 November: 9.30am - 12.30pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

    • Wednesday 24 November: 9.30am - 12.30pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

    • Thursday 25 November: 11.30am - 2.30pm & 3.30pm - 6pm

    • Friday 26 November: 9.30am - 12.30pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

    • Saturday 27 November: cancelled due to Storm Arwen

    Booster drop-in vaccination clinics this week for those who are eligible: 22-26 November

    You can attend our drop-in clinics week beginning 22 November for your booster if:

    • You are eligible for a booster. Please check booster eligibility here.
    • Your second dose was on or before 26 May

    • Monday 22 November: 1.30pm - 4pm
    • Tuesday 23 November: 3.30pm - 6pm
    • Wednesday 24 November: 11.30am - 2.30pm & 3.30pm - 6pm
    • Thursday 25 November: 9.30am - 12.30pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

    • Friday 26 November: 9.30am - 12.30pm & 1.30pm - 4pm


    Second Dose drop-in vaccination clinics this week for those aged 16 & 17: 24 - 26 November

    You can attend our drop-in clinics week beginning 22 November for your second dose if you:

    • Are aged 16 & 17
    • Are registered with a GP in Powys
    • Received your first dose on or before 2 Medi

    Maldwyn Leisure Centre, Newtown

    • Wednesday 24 November: 3.30pm - 6pm
    • Thursday 25 November: 9.30am - 12.30pm & 1.30pm - 4pm
    • Friday 26 November: 9.30am - 12.30pm and 1.30pm - 4pm

    No appointment necessary. 

    Help us make sure your vaccine is as effective as possible and please only attend a drop-in session if:

    • you do NOT currently have COVID-19 symptoms
    • you are NOT acutely unwell
    • you have NOT tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days (if aged over 18) or you have NOT testing positive in the last 84 days (if aged under 18)

    All first doses are currently with Pfizer unless you have a specific clinical need for an alternative to Pfizer. Your vaccinator will discuss this with you when you attend.
