Drop-In COVID Vaccination Sessions - week beginning 7 March

We have drop-in sessions available at our Mass Vaccination Centres week beginning 7 March for those aged 12+. Please check the dates and eligibility below. You can also check our drop-in page for the latest information.

 

You can attend our drop-in clinics for a booster if you:

  • Are aged 18+
  • Completed your primary course (e.g. second dose) more than three months ago

DO NOT attend for a booster if you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days.

 

You can attend our drop-in clinics for your first dose if you are:

  • Aged 12+
  • Registered with a GP in Powys
  • Accompanied by a parent/guardian if aged 12-15

    DO NOT attend if you are aged 12-17 and have tested positive for COVID in the last 84 days, or you are 18+ and have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days.

     

    You can attend our drop-in clinics for your second dose if you:

    • Are aged 18+ and received your first Pfizer dose more than eight weeks ago (AZ second doses are by appointment).
    • OR are aged 12-17 and received your first Pfizer dose more than twelve weeks ago
    • Are registered with a GP in Powys

    DO NOT attend if you are aged 12-17 and have tested positive for COVID in the last 84 days, or you are 18+ and have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days.

    • Tuesday 8 March: 9.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

    • Wednesday 9 March: 9.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

    • Thursday 10 March: 11.30am - 2.15pm & 3.30pm - 6pm

    • Friday 11 March: 9.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

    • Saturday 12 March: 9.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

    Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells 

    • Monday 7 March: 11.30am - 2.15pm & 3.30pm - 6pm

    • Tuesday 8 March: 9.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

    • Wednesday 9 March: 11.30am - 2.15pm & 3.30pm - 6pm

    • Friday 11 March: 9.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

    Park Street Day Centre, Newtown  *Please note change of location*

    • Monday 7 March: 9.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

    • Tuesday 8 March: 11.30am - 2.15pm & 3.30pm - 6pm

    • Wednesday 9 March: 11.30am - 2.15pm & 3.30pm - 6pm

    • Thursday 10 March: 9.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

    No appointment necessary. 

    Help us make sure your vaccine is as effective as possible and please only attend a drop-in session if:

    • you do NOT currently have COVID-19 symptoms
    • you are NOT acutely unwell
    • you have NOT tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 28 days (if aged over 18) or you have NOT testing positive in the last 84 days (if aged under 18)

    All first doses are currently with Pfizer unless you have a specific clinical need for an alternative to Pfizer. Your vaccinator will discuss this with you when you attend.
