A £1.7million investment in new digital X-ray equipment has been announced by Powys Teaching Health Board. Funded by Welsh Government, the new equipment will produce faster, clearer images than ever before, helping to improve diagnostics for the people of Powys. 

Further essential improvement works are due to begin at Llandrindod Wells Memorial Hospital thanks to £3m funding from Welsh Government.

Powys Teaching Health Board has today (10 October 2024) approved proposals for temporary changes to some minor injury and ward-based services in the county.
